Dearest Mother,
womb-warrior,
ultimate life giver
and sacrificer of self,
I thank you.
For your humor, pride,
courage and outrageous
good looks,
among other things.
Your endless love, support
and nurturing are the only reason
I made it to where I am today,
and so,
I say,
